It is reported on 27-30 April 2014, the 126th BCI American (Battery Council International) was held in the United States of California, San Diego. North America Leoch President Phil Noznesky, Vice President Mr. Shawn Peng and Mr. Michael O 'Malley was invited to the conference.

During the conference, Mr. Shawn Peng had a speech of the lead-acid battery start-stop application status in China on behalf of Leoch. In the speech, Mr. Shawn Peng reviewed the application of STT for past few years in China, estimated the development of capacity of China's AGM and EFB SLI lead-acid battery, and analyzed the requirement of the AGM and EFB battery under China's unique environment, of which was highly spoken.

Mr. Peng Shawn suggest, as China's leading lead-acid battery manufacturer as well as a key member of the SAE start-stop battery standards association, association of IEC/TC21 start-up battery, BCI technology association and China association of lead-acid battery standard, Leoch will make more contribution to the relevant standards of start-stop applications.
