The project was designed to replace a genset on a remote island with a PV-based energy solution. The system required reliable energy storage to support off-grid power supply and microgrid operation.

LEOCH supplied three Epoch-B215-W-WL battery cabinets for the project, providing an energy storage solution for the off-grid and microgrid application.

Key Results

The off-grid micro-grid designed for remote island resorts in Sulawesi,  Indonesia, is equipped with solar energy (200kWp) + energy storage system  (250kW/645kWh) + generator set (150kVA). ESS operates as the main energy  source and is charged by solar energy to maximize the use of green energy on  the island.
