  • Q. Does the battery itself make a system compliant?

    No. Compliance normally applies to the complete fire alarm, emergency-lighting or security system. Battery selection must follow the system manufacturer's requirements and the standards or regulations applicable in the project market.

  • Q. Can an existing alarm battery be replaced with a different capacity?

    Only after confirming the voltage, charging parameters, physical dimensions, terminal type, discharge performance and system requirements. A battery that physically fits may still be electrically or operationally unsuitable.
